What is Reiki
At Well.Being Acupuncture & Holistic Healing, we honor the body not just as a physical system, but as an energetic one. Reiki is a gentle yet powerful form of energy healing that supports the body’s natural ability to balance, regenerate, and heal itself—on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels.
Rooted in Japanese tradition, Reiki is administered through light touch or hands hovering above the body, activating the universal life force energy ("Rei" = universal, "Ki" = life energy). It is deeply relaxing and often described as a warm, radiant, or peaceful experience.
What Are the Benefits of Reiki?
Promotes deep relaxation and reduces stress
Supports emotional release and energetic clearing
Enhances mental clarity and inner calm
Boosts the immune system and the body’s natural healing processes
Aids in relieving chronic pain, anxiety, and fatigue
Balances energy centers (chakras) and clears stagnant patterns
Reiki in Combination with Other Therapies
Reiki is a beautiful complement to the other services we offer. It helps integrate and enhance the effects of physical treatments by creating space for the nervous system to rest, reset, and restore.
Acupuncture + Reiki
Aligns meridian flow and energetic balance. Many patients report deeper relaxation and longer-lasting relief when both are combined in a session.
Massage + Reiki
Releases muscular tension while clearing energetic blockages. Reiki can be used at the end of a massage session to seal in calm and restore emotional harmony.
Breathwork + Reiki
Supports emotional release and energetic integration. After activating the breath, Reiki helps anchor the new vibrational state and restore equilibrium.
What to Expect
A Reiki session is conducted fully clothed in a quiet, peaceful treatment room. Your practitioner will guide you into a relaxed state and gently direct energy to the areas of greatest need—whether physical pain, emotional heaviness, or spiritual disconnect.
Every session is unique, and your body will receive exactly what it needs to return to balance.
